I agree. But I just meant, are there any further tests I should run on my machine etc. to rule out any other possible causes?

You can have our malware team look at your system by posting tin that section.

You can run a check disk on all the drives.

Replace the CMOS battery.

Reseat data and power cables and all the cards.
Skipping the CPU unless you replace the thermal paste.

Chek and make sure that none of the boards are shorting out in any way.

The best thing to do is pay attention to what your system is doing and keep more than one back up.

Do not use third party programs to clean and or patch your system.

Check you logs for windows and security software.
