    SFC Checks

    In the event of sfc /scannow failing to repair files, will running program SFCFix resolve the matter ?

    I am well aware of the other checks -

    Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth
    Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth
    Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

      How to Repair a Windows Image should give you a good starting point.

      If that does not solve your problem you may need to attempt to repair system files from the Windows Recovery Environment.

      Worst case you need to restore the computer to a prior savepoint or reload the OS from scratch.
