I'm having issues and I'm clueless on what to do...

I got my hands on some computer parts and I built the computer myself about 5 months ago. It was working completely fine until about a month ago. Before I get into the issues heres my specs

    Processor: Ryzen 5 2600 six core (3.4ghz)
    16 GB Ram
    GPU: Gt 1030
    Motherboard: ASrock B450 Steel Legend

These are the issues i’ve been facing:
    • Red light flashing on top of my pc
    • When booting up my pc (in the area where it says press [button] to open bios), it can take 30 minutes to open it up, sometimes it works automatically. I can’t try to open the bios or anything there because it’s on my second monitor, and it doesn’t detect keyboard inputs. Please help me understand how to make the boot screen on my main monitor.
    • Slower game speeds
    • When I sign into windows, my windows background is flashing from my background to black over and over again and I can’t stop it, I just have to wait a minute and things finally pop up on my taskbar
    • My hard drives are randomly disconnecting so I can only use my ssd for games I want to play without getting randomly kicked off.

This is my last hope to figuring out what’s wrong. I’m close to just selling this computer and buying a console. What do I do?

Let’s get some more info, I’m going to tag @Malnutrition in as well since we might want to look for malware.

      Please download and run speccy.

Once you have ran speccy, follow the instructions to upload a snapshot found here.
[HEADING=3]To publish a Speccy profile to the Web:[/HEADING]
      [ol]
[li]In Speccy, click File, and then click Publish Snapshot.[/li][li]In the Publish Snapshot dialog box, click Yes to enable Speccy to proceed.[/li][li]Speccy publishes the profile and displays a second Publish Snapshot dialog box. You can open the URL in your default browser, copy it to the clipboard, or close the dialog box.[/li][/ol]

Please look in the computer and tell your exact model of PSU, that seems under powered to me, especially if it is a low quality 80+ Bronze unit.
Look for the model, wattage, and efficiency rating^

        Hi there Pyro,

Currently, Speccy is unable to detect my storage device so I’m unable to save a snaphot. I’ll turn of my computer and open it up to see my PSU model, thanks for the help!

I can’t find it. I can see the supply but the model number and wattage are blocked as in the picture shown. All I can remember is that the brand is EVGA and it was bronze 600 watt.[ATTACH type=β€œfull”]10138[/ATTACH]

As usual, I’m unable to get back to my pc because I am stuck on the boot up page.

How many drives do you have connected to the system? What are they (SSD, Hard Drive, Hybrid?) and which one has your OS on it?

Windows ten is installed on my ssd, or c: drive. I have 2 external drives and a disk burner.

Unplug all other drives, no external drives or burners.

Please try gently unplugging and plugging the cable that connects to the drives back in. A firm but delicate pull straight out will suffice, wiggling the cable side to side if necessary (not along the thin portion of the connector).

Unplug and plug in the cable connecting to the motherboard as well.

I’m not sure what you mean. Do you mean unplug the cable for the usb that the drives go into?

For clarification sake, I meant unplug all usbs, and disconnect/reconnect the drive cables (the ones that plug from the drive to the motherboard and the drive to the power supply).

I’m glad it’s working better, come back to us if you have any more issues/know someone who needs some help.
