'The destination file could not be created' (cannot unzip file), no matter where I move it

Hello! I am sorry for asking, but it kills me. I canโ€™t install anything, because every zip file I download cannot be opened or unzipped. โ€˜Windows cannot complete the extraction. The destination file could not be createdโ€™. I have heard it could be because zip file is in โ€˜protected areaโ€™ and I should move it to Downloads/Desktop. Doesnโ€™t help. Maybe problem comes from the fact that my laptop has only one hard disc, not three, like it usually is? I even tried placing file in memory stick and opening from there. Sorryโ€ฆ Would really appreciate a solution.
If itโ€™s important, Windows 10 Version 21H2 (OS Build 19044.1766)

Thank you so much for replying!
I just meant that usually there are three discs, right? Disc C, D, E, or maybe they would have other names. On my new laptop for some reason there is only one such disc.
