    Finalizing DVDs

Hi, I recently burned 13 dual layer DVD+Rs. I created an ISO in Adobe Premiere Elements and then right clicked the ISO to burn to disc (as a DVD, not data), and clicked โ€œverifyโ€ (Iโ€™m not sure if I was supposed to do that but I didโ€ฆ). They will not play in my blu ray/dvd players, but play fine on my computer.

In โ€œThis PC,โ€ it says there is still 800 mb of empty space, and from what I could find, that means it is not finalized.

I cannot find a working method of finalizing the discs. I installed a Nero free trial, if anyone knows a method with that.

Please help or tell me what Iโ€™m doing wrong.

    Thank you!!!

I havenโ€™t burn CDโ€™s or DVDโ€™s in more than 10 years (at least) and used to use Nero6 and DVD Suite, and from memory, on the Burn Disc window, next to the Verify box (which I never used), there was a tick box for Burn and Finalise, or something along those lines.

in other words, on the final screen that you told it to actually start burning, there was a Finalise option as well - it was never hard to spot.

but as I say, those programs would have had many version updates since my days.
