as for Windows Search, forget the method to use the search field an try this method.
click the Start button (either the keyboard button or using the mouse to click Start in the bottom left of screen) and then literal start typing what you want.
Windows automatically starts a search for you.

with everything that has already been tried, next I would reset Windows, keeping files and programs.
Start > Settings > Update & Security > Recovery

and get rid of Driver Easy!

I’ve tried that first method you mentioned, but it didn’t work either, thanks for the suggestion.
I’ll try resetting Windows.

I have FixWin10, but I couldn’t find anything helpful with the problem.
Other than a shortcut to the Windows Search & Indexing Troubleshooter, which hasn’t helped at all.
Maybe I didn’t look hard enough.

Just tried that out after reading your reply, and it didn’t work.
Looks like I’m gonna have to try resetting Windows.

I should be more careful with generalizations, In my experience they never seem to work as intended, often times causing more issues and not really “doing” anything that most application and programs don’t handle quite well themselves.

Just finished resetting Windows and it worked as expected.
