Are you referring to when I did the jumper procedure? If so, it was password reset. That is the only procedure I came across.

I just did a RTC reset (Pressed and held the power button for 30 seconds) and it did nothing. Tried it several times.

RtC is a jumper on the board like the password reset
From what I can see on dell some have both.
I am having trouble finding a pic to show you.
Can I have the service tag number

Yes, that is one of the procedures I did which resets the password for BIOS to factory..
I also reset the RTC.
Service tag # 7QB6L02

are you getting any beep codes
E.g 3 quick beeps

If no beep codes the only other option
Unplug the power
remove battery
press and hold on button 20 seconds
Leave unplugged and no battery for 24 hours to drain all power.
