Power Profile
Active power scheme: high po

Change the Windows Power Plan to Balanced, Ultra and High Performance are a form of overclocking that is known to cause stability and overheating issues, the setting should only be used for gaming type notebooks that have a discrete GPU that needs the extra power.
Memory
Type: DDR3
Size: 16384 MBytes
Channels #: Dual
DRAM Frequency: 665.8 MHz

Go into the BIOS and enable XMP so that the RAM runs at the 800/1600MHz that it is capable of.

Once done, restart the PC and post back and we will provide the steps to do some testing, do not go off and do anything else first.

As an asides, the amount of USB devices that you have hooked up also puts a drain on the PSU and associated hardware, primarily the USB ports and the MB itself.

I’ve enabled it only on 1 ram stick since the other one is apparently not supported for it

No more double posts or I’m out of here

The manual for your MB is complete garbage and does not explain anything about anything other than updating the BIOS and that is the last thing that you need.

You will just have to look around at the different options until you fine XMP which may be under something like the Advanced tab options.

The above now useless information which is why we get real hacked off when people multi post

For XMP to work there must be two sticks if RAM in the board and both of your sticks of RAM are from the same batch so they are 100% compatible.

Only one says it’s supported by XMP so what can I do here I have enabled it on 1 , is it just worth getting a psu because obviously this isn’t working

From memory that sounds like you are talking about Profile 1 and not one stick of RAM.

The steps should be;

Navigate to OC Tweaker and scroll down to the DRAM Timing Configuration. Adjust the β€˜Load XMP Setting’ option to Profile 1.

The DRAM settings should all then say Auto.

Save the settings, exit the BIOS then restart the PC to allow XMP to activte.

Have you done this, it doesn[ICODE]t matter if you are a gamer, a video editor or a graphic designer you don[/ICODE]t use anything other than Balanced on a desktop and for the very reasons that you were advised;

Complete both of the below tests before posting back;

Use the free versions at the following links;

Stress test your GPU with Furmark

Check your FPS etc with SUPERPOSITION
