SSD installed windows 10, laptop takes very long to run.

So every time i turn off my laptop and turn it ON day later or few hours later it will need like 2/3 minutes to run to the desktop.
ALTHOUGH if i turn it off and on instanly(basically a restart or short term like 5 minutes) it will run normally, very fast without issues(10 seconds?).
If it stays for a longer time OFF it gets some weird long run case scenario like for example after a crash or windows update(those 2 scenarios also make it long to run if im not mistaken).
Can i somehow fix it? Or installing new, fresh windows is the only way? Maybe its some laptop charger/PSU issue? It had never been a issue before, just now around 1 month.

its a new problem, ive been running my laptop for 2-3 years without issues. (sometimes it been doing it very rarely and also startup programs like malwarebytes on run, like now. When it runs fast it doesnt startup some apps like malwarebytes)

i didn’t suggest anything, just said i used it while ago so maybe that was the issue, anyways apparently installing fresh windows 10 will be my only option. Can i archieve everything from my SSD drive to HDD drive in .rar to keep everything important and then clean the SSD drive fully +install fresh windows there?
Or maybe its not recommended to keep old stuff? Im just not sure what are the big files from my SSD drive like AppData/Roaming i don’t know if they are any important for me or can i just clean them as well.

You didn`t but you post information regarding a so called system optimising program and no reputable forum promotes such programs.

A clean install of Windows always gives the best results but suggesting it is always a last resort, the only things that you can keep/back up is the likes of pictures, videos and music, all programs must be clean installed.

Having information about your computer may shed some light as to what is going on.

Download then run Speccy (free) and post the resultant url for us, details here, this will provide us with information about your computer hardware + any software that you have installed that may explain the present issue/s.

If you used an optimising tool to change settings then you could’ve deleted/changed a setting & as any reply which may have mentioned this was deleted I can’t check what was changed.

mostly useless stuff(i guess) such as disabled telemetry/firewalls/auto updates/windows security/onedrive/my people. Also printing/fax services network throttling, cortana, xbox live, disabled superfetch, enabled performance tweaks.

I disabled windows updates as soon as possible, never wanted them as they dont do anything good from my experience, just slow down my internet/computer randomly(especially when they are automatic).
Are you saying updating windows now will improve my performance/pc overall?

Windows updates not only fix bugs in Windows that help it to work better they also provide security updates that protect you from the bad guys and the updates can be done any time not just automatically.

You never having installed any updates makes things both easier and more difficult for you, your options have been made easier because there is not enough room on C: for all the missing updates to go, you have to do a clean install, that is the easy part, the difficult part is that you must back up any important data on the drive first and after that back up your drivers and then download an ISO before doing a clean install, had Windows been anywhere near up to date you could have just done an in place upgrade to Windows 11 Pro.

i installed a game on C: which takes around 100GB so i have much space if i just swap it to D: or simply remove, can’t i just backup entire drive in .rar or .zip and get it on another drive HDD ( D: )?
Also you said i will have to install old apps from the beginning, but won’t they work if they were installed on D: and i just install fresh windows on C: but won’t format D: (i have no reason to do so).

Nope.

If you want to move the data from one drive to another you need something like Macrium Reflect.

Get rid of that then try installing Windows updates, once we can see that Windows is up to date we can continue to help, no further help until we can see this as we have no way of knowing whether or not your OS is legit and that has legal implications.

If Windows updates haven’t been installed since 2019 then this most likely is the cause As you’re not installing any fixes which Microsoft have released.
