    Ntfs turned raw

Hi. I had a bit small partition on the system partition, so I used the Aomei partition assistant to make it into a 200mb partition. When it was finished the boot stopped. When I checked with diskpart the c disk was RAW. Is there any way to recover the original partition without loosing the data on it?

If you can get to diskpart try running chkdsk /f

Yes I did, but since the disk seems to be in raw format, it couldn’t do anything. I need to have a format recovery program.

Do you have install media? If yes then you can try booting the PC with this, choosing repair the computer then running startup repair. I suspect you have deleted the UEFI partition.

Yes I do, but the startuprepair isn’t able to fix it, it diagnosis, then says it can’t do it. In cmd I get the message thet the x:source is locked and used by another device. But states that it is a Ntfs partition. So I guesd that the Aomei partition assistent is still active?

It may well be or the software has locked the drive for some reason.
Did you create their recovery drive (if it has one)? If not then you can create this on another PC & use it to boot the problem PC to fix the MBR.
They have instructions on how to fix the problem here Diskpart: Fix RAW Partition in Windows 11, 10, 8, 7 .
