I do have the .iso file downloaded (media creation tool refused to work). I have a flash drive (but no DVD). How do I go about performing a clean installation?
My CPU DOES support x64.
Is there any way were I can directly switch from Windows 7 32bit to Windows 10 64bit (with or without formatting) without having to use a DVD?
Suppose to be able to install from the media creating tool if you are using the same system.
As a precaution will always suggest that you back up personal data.
I wasnโt able to download the media creation tool. Donโt know why though! Regardless, I used a tool called Rufus (a recommendation from another forum) and now Iโm confused on whether I need a CD drive to perform the clean installation or am I good to go with the USB drive!
Download the tool that allows you to create a bootable USB stick.
It is an .exe file that will format a USB stick and georgeks:

I got a โInsufficient system resources exist to complete the requested serviceโ error. I had to download it from my mobile device as it refused to download on PC
Did you download the 32 bit version of the tool? That error means youโre likely trying to run a 64-bit version of the EXE which wonโt work on a 32-bit OS.

Which link are you selecting from the download page?
Are you transferring the file to the computer to complete the install?
On the system that you are attempting to install windows on letโs get a speccy report.
Do not forget to post the make and model of the PSU if this is a desktop.
Download then run Speccy (free) and post the resultant url for us, details here, this will provide us with information about your computer hardware + any software that you have installed that may explain the present issue/s.
To publish a Speccy profile to the Web:
In Speccy, click File, and then click Publish Snapshot.
In the Publish Snapshot dialog box, click Yes to enable Speccy to proceed.
Speccy publishes the profile and displays a second Publish Snapshot. You can open the URL in your default browser, copy it to the clipboard, or close the dialog box.

There were no โ32bit/64bitโ options on the download page. I just downloaded it!
There were no download options on the page. Just one โdownload media creationโ tool option. Yes, I did transform the file from my mobile device to my PC for installation as the download button wasnโt clickable on my PC (donโt know why though!).
Could the boot menu remotely be related to wrong date and time as I just discovered my clock was behind?
