    Factory reset pc

Hey, i factory reset my computer some weeks ago to make it run better and start it up again fresh, but now the computer wont start up. After i have put in where i live it ends up with only saying ¨Checking the connection to Microsoft. This might take a while¨ and there it is stuck. Please help me! I have tried to download windows 10 on a usb flash drive but i just keep on having the same problem.
    Thanks for help!

Good morning @j2005b and welcome to PCHF

Is it getting stuck after completing the install and setting up a Microsoft account?

I have to connect it to a network then it sends me to the screen saying β€œChecking the connection to Microsoft”

Have you tried rebooting your modem and router?

Sorry not trying to be a pedant but Asus make more then 1 motherboard.
As Rusty asked did you download the Windows 10 tool from microsoft or did you download an iso only from somewhere on the web
What version of Windows are you trying to use Home, Pro ect ect
If you install without the internet connected it will allow you to skip the microsoft part.
It will ask you more times but you just say skip.
