Slow WiFi speed on *one* PC

    The best way I have found to test the speed is to download a file and compare it form the same site and compare it to other system on the network.

    Most of the test sites will show speed if testing on single or multi connections.

    I will be out for a couple of days and will check on this when back @PeterOz.

      Hi Rustys,

      I agree with that and in fact I discovered the problem originally through that very process. I was finding that I was getting terribly slow downloads of work related files on the affected PC but not so when using the other one.

      As far as deleting the other network adapters from device manager does that mean all those listed as WAN Miniport?

        No - What I see should be the on board adapter.
        Did you reset the winsock - Post #45 ?

        Also you mentioned before about a plugging in another wireless point.
        What about Ethernet over power ? Click On Me
