I have the mail in Windows 10 ( not Outlook) and every time I start to enter an email address it comes up with suggestions. Most of them are not in my people list. They seem to be of every email address I have sent to or received from. Can anyone tell me how to remove this?
I
Well I tried to get an Outlook account and sorry but I couldnβt figure it out. I tried to do what the first person put in the link but no way to delete. I think if someone could show me a simple ( I am not very good on computers ) way to get Outlook on that would seem to be the best thing.
you donβt need an Outlook account to use Outlook, the email account you currently have - the one you setup in Mail - can also be setup in Outlook.
I know Outlook has a pretty easy way to remove βrememberedβ contacts.
in general, all email software remembers the addresses of emails you send, so as you have discovered, when you start typing in someoneβs address, the software will try to auto-complete it for you with suggestions. these can be deleted.
usually the suggestions themselves, as they are shown, if you hover the mouse over one of them, will show a X to delete it. or try right clicking the item.
