Possible virus, computer functioning slowly.

Hi everyone,

My computer has been functioning slowly, and there has been some unusual activity that would occur such as random windows popping up upon starting my computer. I have also noticed my home page on my internet browser has changed without consent. I hope your support can resolve this issue. I am beyond grateful for your help. Here are some general specs of my computer. I’m not quite sure what else you would need, so please let me know what you require for the diagnostic:
• Windows 10
• Processor: AMD Phenom β„’ II X4 955 Processor 3.20 GHz
• Installed memory (RAM): 8 GB
• System type: 64- bit Operating System, x64 based processor

Hello GTech,

Can you post the brand and model name or number of the power supply (PSU).

Download then run Speccy (free) and post the resultant url for us, details here, this will provide us with information about your computer hardware + any software that you have installed that may explain the present issue/s.

To publish a Speccy profile to the Web:

In Speccy, click File, and then click Publish Snapshot.

In the Publish Snapshot dialog box, click Yes to enable Speccy to proceed.

Speccy publishes the profile and displays a second Publish Snapshot. You can open the URL in your default browser, copy it to the clipboard, or close the dialog box.

Hi there,

Thank you so much for taking the time in looking into my issue. To obtain the PSU, I would have to open up my computer? As I do not have any labels on the outside. Please let me know if this is something you absolutely require as I do not want to open up my computer. Unless I am misunderstanding what the PSU is.

Here is the link generated from Speccy:

We can see a few things going on in Speccy but before elaborating we are obliged to ask how come you have what is effectively a modified version of Windows installed on a personal computer, Windows Education as the name suggests is for schools and colleges and they have their own IT department admins who are legally required to look after the software.
