    Checking for malware

Can someone suggest a goot way to scan a PC for malware. I had found one malware program running and deleted it and now I am a bit paranoid. Thanks.

Microsoft’s own inbuilt Windows Defender is all the AV you need.
I also use ADWcleaner, MalwareBytes, Spyware Blaster, a modified HOSTS file from mvps.org and browser extensions Block Origin and Disconnect as my multi-layered prevention and scanning processes.

If you suspect that you have malware you need to run Windows Defender to confirm it.

If Defender finds anything, update this thread to let us know and we will move your thread to the more appropriate malware removal forums.

Your last post has been deleted as you did not do as was asked VladimirK11

Do as was suggested in my reply #4 and if Defender actually finds malware go here and read all of the information at the two top tabs.
