Support for Office 2010 ended on October 13, 2020. All of your Office 2010 apps will continue to function. However, you could expose yourself to serious and potentially harmful security risks. Upgrade to a newer version of Office.
You may be receiving update that were released prior to that date.
even after XP and Win7 ceased being officially supported, they still got the really important security updates, like WannaCry.
