Need to change registry or security policies on PC

I am running into this problem where I try to log on to my Windows 10 and I get the message, “Security policies on this computer are set to show info about last interactive…”

I know it is caused by change in security policies / registry but I can’t do system restore, repair, or reinstall. My question is, Is there a way I can access registry via safe mode without entering username & password or how about if I take out HD from that PC and connect it to my computer and somehow access registry files then once changes made put it back. I am not sure if anyone has come across this problem with many limitations. But your help in the two questions asked above will be highly appreciated.

    Thanks

As per forum rules we will not help you get around passwords but can I ask what is stopping you from doing a system restore or a reinstall.

It was a time sensitive issue at work, there was no restore point created by the IT head and reinstall would lose files from desktop. Anyways, I did find a work around though.

Thanks for letting us know but fwiw the IT head is the one that should have taken care of this from the outset as due to legal reasons no reputable forum would have been able to help you in any event.
