I have an hp pro 3500 I canโt get my mouse or keyboard to work on windows 10. I did a fresh install through the windows 10 graphical menu. And I mean clean install because my mouse and keyboard would cut in and out but now windows doesnโt recognize them at all. Iโve tried using a wired mouse, safe mode and changing bios settings with no luck the keyboard works fine in the bios and when booting ubuntu From live cd but when windows starts up I canโt do anything.

The behaviour suggests that it is a driver issue and being that the computer has no HP Windows 10 drivers available you need to use an alternative.

If your case has any blue USB 3.0 ports on the front be sure to only have the keyboard and mouse plugged into the black USB 2.0 type, USB 3.0 have different drivers that need to be installed separate from the USB 2.0 ones. -
I have tried plugging both the wireless keyboard and mouse into all usb ports as well as a wired usb mouse the bios settings have all usb ports on and itโs bios settings are so simple the only viable option is about signed drivers but it doesnโt solve my problem when turned off all bios settings are set to default at this point. I can get it to boot into ubuntu via live cd but most of my games are windows only so it has to be something with windows right?Originally posted by phillpower2Comment
