    JSON FILE

Everytime I try to save a link to a file it shows as refresh, JSONFILE instead of the usual file designation and then LPF. file
Any way to get rid of this?

right click the Start button, click on Run and type winver and hit Enter.
on the second line it’ll show something like Version 20H2 (OS Build 19042.572)

            walk us through your process…

you’re in a browser and you right click a link and click Save Link As…
but instead of saving it as a HTML file, yours saves it a LPF file.

what is your browser and have you tried another one?
is your browser up to date?

do you know what LPF is used for? you must have some program on your PC that is not part of the usual bunch. I thought it may have been a Lightroom Photoshop file but Googling suggests a program called Logic Pointer by ProWorx.

LPF is a league player file. It’s for a baseball simulation called APBA. I never had this problem before, and have been doing things this way for several years. I can still save the files by just clicking save file, but it goes to a large download file instead of to the folder I want.
