    Constant Freezing

Built a PC in 2013 with W7 that I upgraded to W10 four years and that install has been stable every since. A couple weeks ago though it started freezing at random. No error message, no abnormal behavior. You’d just being using it and suddenly everything would stop and you wouldn’t be entirely sure it was frozen until you noticed the time on taskbar was a couple minutes behind the real time. This happens within 10 minutes of booting, and occasionally DURING boot at the Windows splash screen. Below is what I’ve tried so far. I’m at the end of my software-rope, I hope I don’t need a new SSD, but I’d also like to be certain before spending any money for new parts so if we think that may be the case let me know if you know how to confirm.

[li]Checked every section in the event viewer for events leading up to the freeze but nothing unusual was happening. Not even any warnings, never mind errors.[/li][li]Booted to safe mode, still freezes.[/li][li]Went ahead and reinstalled Windows altogether, no change in the behavior.[/li][li]Flashed the latest BIOS, no change.[/li][li]Got all Windows updates installed, no change.[/li][li]Attempted to get W10 up to 2004 (currently on 1909) but it takes too long and it always freezes before it can finish the install[/li][li]Booted to safe mode again, still freezes[/li][/ul]

    Post complete system specs

Have you tried creating the install media form the Microsoft site?
    https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/soft...load/windows10

Could be the SSD do you have another internal HDD that you can try install on?

The system is seven years old so it can be any thing.
