display drivers failed to start... help

Iโ€™m facing a problem right now that hasnโ€™t seem to have happened to any of my friends, when i play anything remotely graphically intensive, my screen suddenly turns itself off showing โ€˜no signalโ€™, the fans on my pc get really loud and i canโ€™t do anything about it but to force restart from the case, when i log back in, i see the notification that โ€œdisplay drivers failed to start, using microsoft basic display driver instead, check windows update for a newer display driver.โ€ I have ran every test i can and also downloaded the latest nvidia drivers and windows updates, i even at one point reset my pc deleting all my files but my problem still persists.

    Hello

Have you checked the temps during or prior to GPU shutting down?

yes i have the GPU temp never goes over 70 and crashes at different temperatures, most recently a few minutes ago at 40c right after crashing.

also everything here is not over 1 month old since purchase, all the parts are new. In addition to that, i took out the ram sticks and put them back in and the crashes stopped for like half a day but now even that doesnt work anymore.

          Ok

I suggest that you download and install thisโ€ฆ Download Winaero Tweaker

In winaero the window on the left has functions you can use.. Scroll down to behavior until you see Stop windows driver update, click it. On the right side you will see that function, make sure you check that off..restart pcโ€ฆ Now or before you do this make sure you have the latest asus gpu drivers for that card and install..

            PSU make and Model
If the system has the capability to do so try using the onboard display.
