Windows can't write to the (HDD) D disk after installing disk drill.
I wanted to try to recover some files I had and installed disk drill on the D: Drive (HDD) of my PC and not the C: DRIVE (SSD) which is where most of the programs actually are. Now the PC canβt write to the D: DRIVE and fails during unnistallation (of the disk drill) because it is installed on the D: DRIVE and it canβt write to that disk.
My backup software can no longer write to my external drives, nor can I manually copy and paste files to those same drives. Any attempt returns the message "Write permission is denied....". This condition is unexpected, since I've made no…
