Question about old HD with win

I have no clue what I’m doing
It won’t turn on
I don’t know where the power sw goes and plus and minus led if that’s even why it won’t turn on

I did plug in as far as I think
Top left side of pins
Led + and - and then next to them the power sw
Like it says on the pins on the mobo
Very tiny letters
And nothing…
I’m gonna unpack all this
Unscrew it and send it all back and get a pre built

I did lose the adaptor screw though
put the mobo on 4 screws from the top after I turned them in by hand trough the 4 holes from the other side of the case.So then put the mobo on top of them… screwed the regular 4 screws in…everything seems tight…for the life of me idk where the little adaptor is …I didn’t drop it…SSD is in.all the satas and the bigger one next to them are connected…I had ordered extension sata to molex so that’s how the SSD is hooked up to the blue ray… There is absolutely no life in this machine …I feel it lol…something is not right.I doubt anything came DOA eather…I wore shoes…anti static wrist band…

if I knew this is gonna be this much hassle I would have just ordered a pre build but I remember my first one beeing fairly easy to build so I was like hell yeah…

thats it,the thermal paste is off ,everything is gona get returned while i still can,maybe its a bad psu or mobo…i even tried turning it on by touching the pins with the screwdriver and still not a beep…return it nicely and get a stupid pre built or better parts…

Sorry to see that you are having the issues getting the system to work.

Are you wishing to continue with the build or send the parts back and get a pre built?

Getting a similar pre built for same price around 600$.
