Single stick working in single channel at 1333MHz as opposed to the 2666MHz that you would have in dual channel, your RAM is basically working at only 50% of what it is capable of which is not good for your CPUs performance.

See what the Crucial System Scanner detects, see here

Not sure what is going on with your Power Plan settings so create a new system restore point then try the following at the tutorial here to see if it restores the default High Performance plan for you.

Your RAM amount and upgrade options ties in with the Lenovo specs here

The High Performance power plan will hopefully help with the GPU performance but to get the best out of your notebook you really need the dual channel performance from the RAM, the CPU is being bottlenecked otherwise.

I just tried playing some games, and it seems like restoring the high performance power plan and using it actually helped! Everything seems to be running as good as it used to. It’s still pretty weird, because I think that everything used to work fine even on the balanced power plan. Anyway, thank you for all your help! Have a nice day.
