Black screen of death pop up all the time!

Hello everyone. I have a problem with my pc and I want some advice about it. I build my pc by myself before 5-6 months. Before a month I had some black screens coming up all the time. That day, I had to finish some work to my pc and I couldn’t just google it or open the case to see what is going wrong. Every 5-15 minutes it was shown up a black, blue, red screen and I had to restart it( no words or any messages on those screens of death). The next day, I opened my case and I was experimenting with the ram slots. I tried the dual-channel to the other two slots or place just one ram to see the difference. I think that with only one ram my pc was better but still, I had black screens popping up. After that, I removed any components from the motherboard and the small battery that it has for a minute. I placed them back again and the system was ok. After that, I had this problem very rarely, maybe a time per week. But, in the last couple of days, I had this problem again. I think that I have it more frequently when I do updates for my GPU and windows or when I am playing a video game. Any suggestions?

    Hi,

Try installing the latest video drivers from AMD’s website and see if the black screen issues still occur, AMD Video Drivers.

I update all of my components. As I can see, only when I am playing a videogame I got a crash.

Is it possible there is an issue with the current driver and that particular game?
Could be a bug that will be addressed in the future.

I have tried 3 different games and I had the same problem. I also roll back the drivers of GPU but the next day I had the same problem (while screen while gaming).

Can you post the brand and model name or number of the power supply (PSU).

Download then run Speccy (free) and post the resultant url for us, details here, this will provide us with information about your computer hardware + any software that you have installed that may explain the present issue/s.

To publish a Speccy profile to the Web:

In Speccy, click File, and then click Publish Snapshot.

In the Publish Snapshot dialog box, click Yes to enable Speccy to proceed.

Speccy publishes the profile and displays a second Publish Snapshot. You can open the URL in your default browser, copy it to the clipboard, or close the dialog box.

This started a month ago. I have tried to see if the problem was the drivers of the GPU but I don’t think so. I tried older drivers and also to update them to the latest but still, I have this problem. Now I can see that I have this problem only when I am playing videogames. it doesn’t happen all the time. With Minecraft never had a problem but with Rust, WOW, and Syndicate I have this problem. My PSU is Corsair CX600M and I will update it to a Corsair CX Series CX550 really soon.

                      Hey! Thanks for your concern.
I only get black screen sometimes when I am playing games like rust, wow, assassin greed. I have tried minecraft a lot of hours but I haven’t any problem with this game. Also, lately it shows me this message and for a couple of restarts or until I open the case and re plug I can’t find all my drives (ssd or hard drive) when I press F12.

I would update your motherboards BIOS to the latest version and see if that helps with your overall system stability. Also set your power plan to high performance in Windows.

Are you using Windows 10 version 1909?
