Hi all, so had to update windows 10 the other day, performed the update, the pc restarted and my monitor went to standby mode (due to no signal). I let it have an hour or so. It wouldnβt come on. I powered the system down, then switched it back on, the monitor worked again. I logged in to windows and found the update failed. I tried the update again a few times and the same thing happens, the last time I tried it, no matter what I try I am unable to get any signal to my monitor. I will list below everything I have checked and tried.
4.Removed my GPU and ram and reinserted to ensure nothing is loose.
I have literally tried everything I can think of and nothing makes any difference whatsoever.
any suggestions ?
- Checked all cables including trying them on different devices and screens, they work fine.
- the monitor works fine when plugged into my PS4.
- Tried a different monitor on the pc, all I get is a no signal message.
