    Windows update KB4532963

    Hi everyone,

A few weeks ago my Windows 10 Enterprise did an automatic update KB4532963 and when my laptop restarted i lost my windows
account and ended up with a temporary account. Signing out and in again a few times as suggested didnt help at all to restore
    my account.

What seemed to help was to uninstall the latest update KB4532963. I had this happening twice. Twice i installed it and
uninstalled it with the same result. To avoid downloading and reinstalling this apparently big update again I disabled automatic
windows updates now hoping my laptop will not try to install this update again.

Im aware that this way my laptop cant install any updates at all and i might as well have windows 7 without any support
so what can i do to make this update pass without my laptop losing my windows account and ending up with a temporary account
which i cant leave unless i uninstall this same update over and over again. Any suggestions? Thanks!

By the way my laptop is a Lenovo Ideapad 320 and my windows 10 enterprise is activated.

Right but what specific version of Windows 10 Enterprise? Is it version 1703, 1709, 1803, 1809?

Open Windows Explorer and go to File< Help< About Windows and let me know what version you have.

I just read in an english blog that Windows is aware of the problem with this particular update so i will just wait. Apparently something went wrong with this update and Microsoft is again to blame for this problem. Will try again to update in a few months and hopefully there will no more problems then.

I dont even know how to open windows explorer so i have no idea what version. I really wish that windows 7 was still there cause w10 is a pain
in the … Before i never had problems with w7 now every month there is xxxx. Maybe i will just disable updates in w10 altogether cause nothing good is coming from Windows anymore. What a mess after windows 7

Ok. You can also upgrade your system to version 1909 here, Download Windows 10.

Hi everyone I updated my version to 1909 as suggested and my laptop works smoother now.
So far i dont get any notice about new updates so hopefully the Windows update KB4532963
will not pop up again. i have to say i disabled all updates for now and will wait 1 or 2 months
to enable updates again. By that time the problem should be solved

Thanks again for the link (y)(y)
