Is there anyway to stop windows automatically installing and updating my drivers?? Im having issues with crashes, so plan on removing my drivers withh DDU and then uploading the new one from Nvidia. But i dont want windows getting involved and changing things..
Hope you dont mind me butting in here but if you just want to disable windows driver downloads but still want normal windows updates, go to the Behavior section of Aerotweaker and disable driver updates there. Doing it this way works even if you are unable to access Windows group editor, and you can still get Windows updates.
Check the app now and again to make sure Microsoft havenβt got overly aggressive and turned your preference off. BTW, you can turn off all windows updates here as well as per pic. Aerotweaker is a great app and unlike some other privacy apps allows you to set everything back to default if you want.
