Font issue?

Hi, I’ve been bashing my head over this for a few days. I’m having issues with texts appearing in question marks boxes (displayed in the image) and I have tried many “fixes” but none seem to work, which in turn, leads me here. Can anyone help me sort this issue? It prevents me from using certain applications I downloaded.[ATTACH type=“full”]5599[/ATTACH]

Mainly some games from torrents on different languages but Chinese or Japanese is the only ones where this happens so I think its something with the fonts.

Torrents are notorious for infected and hacked and all around just crap software. You should only get the software form the manufacture or some place like Steam.
