    Multiple Issues

    Hi Guys
So i have just got back home from being in hospital to some updates which i downloaded,
however since then i had multiple issues with my pc, even though i have performed a system restore
    The issues are
i keep getting a message β€œsemaphore timeout period has expired” when im moving files around, its only when i reboot that it works
But the reboot can take up to a hour to do.

AS i said everything was ok until i did this upgrade

    cheers

Actually it wasnt a windows upgrade, rather than a cloud storage that i have through a retailer, if in the uK the store is called Currys

Sounds like there is some corruption with the OS and hardware failure

Does the system have issues or run any better in safe more.

if you were to uninstall and or disable this form running does the system run normally

ok managed to get into safe mode, it had to repair the β€œC” disk, which has solved the rebooting time but
im still getting the β€œsemaphore timeout period has expired” error

The system now boots properly correct in normal mode

From what you have stated the issue is with them most recent update for the cloud storage software that you update. Have you tried uninstalling the software and reinstalling it to see if that correct the issue.

Is this the only time that the error message comes up? When you go to transfer online (download or upload) some place else does this message come up?

Check to make sure that you security software allows this to happen.

Would depend on what the security software is and version.

Usually under options or maybe setting or maybe preferred and then under allow.
