Hey folks,
New guy here.
Iโve had an ongoing problem for a few years now with a ~7yo PC running Windows 10. Whenever it starts up, or wakes from sleep mode, I can see through Task Manager that task โSystem Interruptsโ takes up ~30% CPU. The computer becomes very sluggish.
Restarting helps โfixโ this problem, and it doesnโt come back until the next startup after shutting down.
Usually I just leave the PC running with minimal processes to avoid the startup โ restart cycle.
Iโd like to keep the tower running for a while longer until I can put together a new one. Does keeping the PC on, or shutting it off and starting up โ restarting the best option for longevity?
Thanks in advance for your time.
