My Wifi Icon Isn't Showing Up

I don’t know what happened, but my wifi icon won’t show up in the taskbar. This doesn’t really bother me because the my internet works just fine.
But I’ve noticed some things don’t work. For instance, Windows won’t check for updates. This didn’t start happening until the icon disappeared.
I’ve went into the taskbar settings to re-enable it, but it isn’t there. Some games, like Minecraft Bedrock Edition, I can’t access the marketplace.
I’ve updated drivers, restarted the computer multiple times, and I just can’t seem to find a solution. Even going into the notification center doesn’t
provide any help. It used to bring up different connections, now it just shows the option for airplane mode. Clicking on “Network & Internet Settings”
Takes me to the useless window in the settings. I must be missing something. And I’m hoping someone can help.

Desktop. and I have an AMD Ryzen 5 1400 Quad Core Processor 3.20 GHz with a Radeon RX 580 Series. I’ve had this PC almost a year and this is the first time this has happened.

Are you connected to the internet using a cable?
What did you do or what happened prior to this issue?

I had my wifi icon disappear also ( turnet into a square with a red x on it ), It was a problem with the motherboard as the problem disappeared after replacing it.
