    Windows 10 boot issue

    Been attempting this for about 2 days now with no progress, was simply on my laptop (Alienware 15v2) and it powered off. I’m currently stuck in a boot loop, every now and then being able to see the Alienware logo, but then having the computer shutdown just before the windows 10 load.

    My laptop has an β€œurgent” bios update that is needed, and I’ve attempted to flash update it with no help. Every time I get the laptop to manually load my update with my USB, it begins the loading process, soon after shutting down and getting into a boot loop again.

    Really stuck here guys, any help/advice can really be used

    Welcome to PCHF GreenCarrot,

    Some clarity is needed here;

    If you try starting up the computer does it start and then shut down completely or does it shut off then start itself back up again,

    It is important that we know what happens exactly, the notebook shutting down before Windows has had a chance to load could point towards an overheating issue whereas a β€œboot loop” is when Windows gets so far into the loading process, encounters a problem and then tries again to load, a bad storage device or Windows being corrupt are two common causes if such behavior.
