    Overheating—please help

I have a Lenovo Y510P ideapad with an Intel Core i7-4700MQ, a GeForce GT 755, and a Intel HD Graphics 4600. This laptop has ran the games I want to play good for years. A couple months ago it suddenly started roaring every few seconds and freezing my game. I downloaded a program that tells me my laptops temperature and with a game running it said that the GeForce GT was at 153 degrees Fahrenheit. Is overheating the problem? And if so what caused it randomly and how can I fix it? Also when I look in task manager at details it says that my GPU is jumping between 89-100% usage. I sat my laptop up to a fan and got it down to 119 degrees, it was still doing the same exact same thing and freezing my game. Any help is appreciated.

first thing to try would be to blast it with some compressed air, paying extra attention to the air intake and exhaust ports.
next, depending on your handiness with a screwdriver and competency with pulling off the back cover plate (and all laptops are unique) I try to get direct access to the internals and hit it with air again.
