PC been having several issues lately.

Hello. So my PC has been having several different issues lately. My game crashed a couple times when I got to the most action (and thus, Iโ€™d assume, the most resource-intensive). My SSD was almost full so I installed a new one and cleared space on the one the game (Final Fantasy 14) is installed on and havenโ€™t had that happen anymore. But one thing is that I do play with a controller (either via Xbox Controller Wireless Adapter or USB cable) and a headset, and if the controller or headset becomes disconnected so that the audio is forced to switch sources from controller headset to speakers, it crashes the game.

Another issue is that several buttons/links across many programs and websites (Steam, Origin and others) donโ€™t do anything when I click on them. I donโ€™t know much about computers but it seems like itโ€™s sometimes when the button is like, idk, graphical? Or maybe running off of some kind of Flash process haha idk. But anyways, another thing to note is that I have always gotten a notification at startup that my BIOS needs to be updated and Iโ€™ve always put it off cuz Iโ€™ve been afraid to and not sure how. Could the BIOS being out of date/still factory from a few years ago be causing all this? Iโ€™ve also had several other miscellaneous, isolated issues that are hard to gather atm, and hard to say if thereโ€™s a pattern cuz I donโ€™t use PC that frequently and only use it for a few select games sometimes. Basically, how do I test/diagnose each individual component to make sure they are all performing perfectly fine and how they should be? To rule out any CPU/GPU/HDD/BIOS issues, etc? Thank you!

Edit: Also, now Iโ€™m getting an error when trying to start a game (Apex Legends) that says CreateFile failed with 32.
Edit 2: I canโ€™t even click the shut down button in the windows menu omg.

Edit 3: Iโ€™m sorry lol.. So on my last restart it said โ€œrestartingโ€ forever so i did a hard shutdown with the buttonโ€ฆ Now with the shut down button in windows not working I did Windows key+L and used the one on the lock screen and the display is black, monitor is lifeless but the lights on the PC are still on and fading in and out (pretty sure thatโ€™s what they do when its shutting down) but itโ€™s been 30 minutes.. Iโ€™m worriedโ€ฆ
