Linux terminal on windows removed all files from windows folders

Hello . I recently install ubuntu terminal on windows 10 and i accidentally used the command rm -rf * on the / directory and all my personal files have been removed. Is there a way to recover them?

Unfortunately there is no way to recover data using the rm command.

Hopefully you will have a system backup that you can run and restore from the backup boot disc?
