When I right click and click 'New' it freezes for like 5 seconds.

Whenever I right click on desktop or anywhere in file explorer when I want to create a new folder or a document, as soon as the cursor hovers on the โ€˜Newโ€™ option, the โ€˜Right Click Optionsโ€™ freezes for like 5-10 seconds till the โ€˜Newโ€™ menu appears. Look at this video for more information. Please help me as this problem is really annoying, and if youโ€™re wondering if I have tried any methods to solve it, I haveโ€ฆ I already tried to use the method of the โ€˜ShellExโ€™ method, which I found on this Microsoft forum ( Right Click crashes Explorer on Windows 10 Pro - Microsoft Q&A )โ€ฆ but unfortunately it was no help.

Hereโ€™s the small video link to streamable, which demonstrates the problem Iโ€™m going through: https://streamable.com/t8n80 , It wouldnโ€™t let me upload it here.. (Sorry for the bad quality, I compressed it so it can upload faster.)

Which release of Windows 10 and Bit?
How long has this been going on?
Make and model of the mouse?
Have you trued a different port if USB?
Are you using USB 3 or USB 2 ports?
Have you tried a different mouse?
Did this start happening after an update?

Can I guess you have Windows 10 version 1809, if so it is a known issue. Supposedly to be fixed in the next build update.

To see if the above is correct try making a new folder by using the shortcut keys

CTRL + SHIFT + N and see if there is any freezing.
