Will this delete my windows 10?

When I bought my pc (pre-built) it came with windows installed. And if I switched out the motherboard and cpu that it came with will it delete my os and will I have to go and buy windows 10 again? I was just recently planning on switching out my amd mobo and amd cpu out for newer intel versions. And all I want to know is if It will delete my windows 10 OS.

Unless you have a Win 10 disc or flash drive with an iso copy of it,probably yes you will have to buy another OS.

Unless your OS is the full retail edition you cannot use it with a new MB as an OEM version is tied to the original MB it was paired with, to use an OEM version with a new MB is software piracy and therefore illegal.

Exceptions to the above are 1: If your MB is replaced under warranty and 2: If your MB is replaced out of warranty with an alternative type but same brand due to the original model no longer being available, an upgraded MB however will require the purchase of a new OS licence.

If you have a full retail disk and a product key that is not in use on another computer the OEM restriction/s is/are not the same.
