I havenโt reseated ram but I did re-arrange my system not too long ago and unplugged everything. Iโm also getting this error: โThe system has rebooted without cleanly shutting down first. This error could be caused if the system stopped responding, crashed, or lost power unexpectedly.โ That just popped up when I started my computer and looks like itโs popped up 4 times in the last week. Honestly, just starting the computer resulted in 29 events in event viewer from warnings to error to critical levels.

Would you say that since you have done this is about the time that the issues have started.Originally posted by joshyjamesI havenโt reseated ram but I did re-arrange my system not too long ago and unplugged everything.
When are you planning on getting the GPU?Comment

No the issues have been around for a while, well before I rearranged everything. And Iโm hoping to upgrade sometime mid year probably to a 2060.
Havenโt experienced anything weird yet btw.Comment

Iโve tested the video card, it performs fine. Iโve wanted to test ram but am not entirely sure how to do it. One thing Iโve noticed is sometimes discord flickers in the background.Comment

Here is one way to test the RAM
[ul]
[li]Click Start, type mdsched.exe in the Search box, and then press Enter.[/li][li]Choose whether to restart the computer and run the tool immediately or schedule the tool to run at the next restart.[/li][li]Windows Memory Diagnostics runs automatically after the computer restarts and performs a standard memory test automatically. If you want to perform fewer or more tests, press F1, use the Up and Down arrow keys to set the Test Mix as Basic, Standard, or Extended, and then press F10 to apply the desired settings and resume testing.[/li][/ul]
To get the results
The log resides in Event Viewer
[ol]
[li]Type event into Cortana Search beside your Start Button, open Event Viewer[/li][li]Navigate to Windows Logs - System[/li][li]In the right hand pane select โMemory Diagnosticsโ to see the result of the test(s)[/li][/ol]Comment

I built the machine and yeah its for all of my threads. Do you mean is the motherboard mounted? Cause it is mounted onto the case screws.Comment

Iโm not entirely sure what you mean. Itโs in my case mounted according to how the case screws were layed out. Thereโs nothing in between if thatโs what you mean?Comment

You are shorting out you motherboard since it is mounted onto the case. You will have to get the proper spaces for that motherboard and insert them before using the system again.Originally posted by joshyjamesIโm not entirely sure what you mean. This is about the best I can do. Thatโs the distance between the motherboard and the case, sorry itโs kind of blurry.Comment

The post that is between the case and the motherboard is the spacer and if you have one on every screw then that should not be the issue.Originally posted by joshyjamesThis is about the best I can do. Thatโs the distance between the motherboard and the case, sorry itโs kind of blurry.
Is this the system overclocked?
