    Hello

How old is this display? Is it past your warranty?

Have you tried the Samsung web site?

Support Home | Official Samsung Support US

      Plus the manual

Gaming Monitor, Monitors Support | Samsung Care US

You could also try the settings on your graphics card, right click a blank spot on your desktop and select either the Nvidia or AMD control panel and adjust it there.

Have you also tried physically adjusting the monitor settings? Samsung have an app for adjusting the monitor in Windows which you will find MUCH easier than trying to use the stupid menu, and buttons on the monitor. Also install the driver for it.

It is also possible your graphics card may have an issue, can you try another?

If any of the above doesn’t work then it looks like you’ve got a warranty claim.

Not realy, no, I haven’t been able to find anything useful online, I contacted Samsung online about it and they said I’d need to send my monitor into a technician for him to fix it. Tried checking the inherant options of the screen (no use). I updted my display drivers on my fx card but to no avail. I haven’t read the manual yet mind you. I tried a different display cord and that didn’t do anything. Checked out the windows options but that was useless. So basically I still have the same problem.

Well I checked the NVIDIA control panel and that provided me with brightness ateraltion, and I tried it, and yes, it did provide somewhat of a more vibrant brightness that worked well in some of the games I’ve played since then, however, I’m left thinking that it’s just an alternate form of brightness and not the actual delux, quality brightness that came with the monitor, of which I have had no luck managing to restore.

It sounds like it could be the monitor going bad, especially since a Samsung tech wants to look at it.

I would honestly send it in for warranty repair.

Nothing really, still haven’t gotten a solution to the issue, I’m probably going to drop it off for repair.
