    Grey screen and Automatic restart

    Hi guys

I have built a PC a few days ago with these parts https://au.pcpartpicker.com/list/JH4knH and the pc was working perfectly until today. The PC froze then I turned it off and have been getting a grey screen ever since and an automatic restart after the grey screen. The grey screen appears just as I login or just before I login. I don’t think I installed the drivers properly and I think there may be something wrong with the graphics driver but I can’t re-install or install any of these drivers because I can’t access my computer. It would be appreciated if someone could help me solve this problem. I have checked all the parts and everything is working and connected properly. Thanks

    Hello

Have you made sure the mobo isn’t grounding out?

Did you remove the plastic film from the heat sink and CPU?

Did you add the proper amount of thermal goop?

Assemble everything outside of the case on a non metallic place.

Does the system turn on? Does the system power up properly?

if you suspect the graphics card, remove it and use one of the mobo’s video ports.

Agree with @Bruce, your motherboard has built in graphics so remove your Radeon card and connect your monitor to the onboard port and reboot.
