Strange Memory Behavior - HP Pavilion All-in-One 24-r0xx

My all in one desktop is having strange memory and performance problems. It’s going up to maximum memory usage sporadically without much open. Usually it’s google chrome, or photos showing up. The performance is going up to maximum percentage as well, and the computer slows down and doesn’t allow opening or closing of programs and freezes. Restarting the computer appears to temporarily fix the issue and eventually rises again. Could this be a memory leak?

    Specs:
AMD Ryzen 5 2500U with Radeon Vega Mobile GFX
    8GB RAM
    64 bit

What security software are you running and version?
What changes have you made to the system (hardware/software)?
This could be an infection we can definitely get this thread to that sections and they can assist with that?

The computer is an office computer we use to input products onto ebay. We haven’t downloaded and new software or hardware, besides normal apps like google chrome as we got the computer a couple weeks ago. I’d hesitate to say it’s an infection but it’s possible.

Also the only security software is the windows defender we don’t use any outside security programs.

Since this a brand new system we suggest that you contact the manufacturer for assistance. Some of the things that we may have you attempt will VOID the warranty.

Could also be that something has come loose during shipping, how long has this been happening?

It’s been happening since we got it and set it up. From the start we started having problems. I’m okay with voiding the warranty as we cannot afford to be down a computer for too long in this business.
