I recently deep cleaned my pc and i turned my pc on to see one of my ram sticks was half in with one of the sides not pushed in, i turned off my pc and pushed the side back into my motherboard and turned on my pc so far everything is fine. Is there any chance i couldve damaged my pc and is there any free software I can download to check my ram.
the proof of any damage is that the PC is still working - so you should be fine.
but⦠since it looks like you have Windows 10, click the Start button and start typing memory - you should see Windows Memory Diagnostic in the Best Match section. run that.
thereβs also memtest86 available from here; https://www.memtest86.com/
