    PC says System32 is missing, then shows blank home screen.

    I booted up windows 10. It said it had some updates, so I let it do its thing (took about 10 mins) then I signed in as normal. After an abnormally long welcome screen, an error popped up saying that System32 w

          Perhaps a system restore from the recovery console is in order here.

              Hi there @Jujubesinjuly and Welcome to PCHF

              I would advise following gus’s and Mal’s advice. If you find they don’t work, a re-install of the OS is in order.
