Cheers. If my voltage levels have been low etc, should I get a more powerful supply unit? My current one is 750W. Would getting a more powerful one just fry my hardware?
You can get another 750 watt psu,just get one that has a good amp on the 12 volt and 5 volt (around 30 or better,the higher the better). No the higher wattage will not damage your pc,you are still running at 12 volts,5 and 3β¦
So you recommend a new power unit? PSU? Any particular makes or models you might recommend?
Do you have a link to where you will most likely make the purchase, we can then look at the best option/s available to you, not all PSUs are sold worldwide.
A friend recommended this. Itβs a 1000w but he said it wouldnβt be a danger and would allow the machine to draw on extra power. Thatβs my wording, not his. Heβs studying IT at uni so Iβm inclined to trust his suggestion.
