Letโ€™s test your RAM to ensure your RAM is OK

[ul]
[li]Click Start, type mdsched.exe in the Search box, and then press Enter.[/li][li]Choose whether to restart the computer and run the tool immediately or schedule the tool to run at the next restart.[/li][li]Windows Memory Diagnostics runs automatically after the computer restarts and performs a standard memory test automatically. If you want to perform fewer or more tests, press F1, use the Up and Down arrow keys to set the Test Mix as Basic, Standard, or Extended, and then press F10 to apply the desired settings and resume testing.[/li][li]When testing is completed, the computer restarts automatically. Youโ€™ll see the test results when you log on.[/li][/ul]

Iโ€™ve run mdsched.exe twice now as instructed but there is no log or report that shows when the computer restarts.

From what I have read for what ever reason Windows 10 does not display the file (results) yet there is a way to retrieve it.

Try following the information in this LINK and see if it helps.

So Iโ€™ve run FurMark and it leveled out at about 66 degrees max. Then it shut down.

Iโ€™ve also found that some restarts reset many of my settings, both in game and out. In PubG Iโ€™ve had to reset all my personal settings for instance. My audio stop working and I had set up my headset and speakers again. HOwever, while Realtek seems to be installed, I canโ€™t find the program to start it up to alter my sound.
As a result, I first had no sound through my speakers, now I just get a low toned drone, sometimes various Windows sounds play but they echo.
Also, about 90% of the things from the Hidden Icons button in the bottom right are gone. I have no idea how to summon them back.

Does this FurMark thing reveal anything to you? I am really starting to despair here with this PC.

It shut down? Not good.

From what youโ€™re explaining to me, the first step I would do is reinstall windows. From scratch. Something is seriously wrong and furmark should not have shut down. That points to either windows acting up or a gpu fault. Backup everything while you can.

Iโ€™ve had trouble sorting an ISO for Windows 10 as the Windows instructions just link me in circles. A friend is coming over tomorrow with a bootable drive and weโ€™ll go from there.
Thanks for keeping in touch. I really appreciate all the help you guys have given.

So, Iโ€™ve been using the PC as I normally would since reinstalling Windows. No issues at all. However, just now Iโ€™ve had one of those strange crashes. No blue screen, no warning, nothing I can see that would trigger or explain it :\

FurMark Setup:
• If you have more than one GPU, select Multi-GPU during setup
• In the Run mode box, select โ€œStability Testโ€ and โ€œLog GPU Temperatureโ€
Click โ€œGoโ€ to start the test (Looks like itโ€™s โ€œBURN-IN testโ€ now)
• Run the test until the GPU temperature maxes out - or until you start having problems (whichever comes first).
NOTE: Set the alarm to go off at 90ยบC. Then watch the system from that point on. If the system doesnโ€™t display a temperature, watch it constantly and turn it off at the first sign of video problems. DO NOT leave it it unmonitored, it can DAMAGE your video card!!!
If the temperature gets above 100ยบC, quit the test - the video card is overheating.
• Click โ€œQuitโ€ to exit
What you are looking for:
• excessive heat from the GPU (report back with anything over 90ยบC)
• problems with the video display (picture is distorted or jumbled, picture turns black, etc)
• problems reported by the program (I havenโ€™t seen this, but โ€œjust in caseโ€

Ran FurMark for about 20 minutes. It sat pretty happy at 71 degrees before I closed the program.
