No input to monitor, have tried multiple options

    From the top

    Msi pro seriesb150 pc mate
    Radeon r9 380
    I7-6400k
    16g ram

So i hadnt shut down in awhile and decided mid game ide restart while i made coffee, everything had been working flawless the 3 years ive had this pc. Once restarted i got no input to both screens.

    Ive swapped cables,
    Swapped sockets i was using
    Swapped monitors
    Removed and reseated gpu
    Replaced power supply
    Removed and reseated ram
Tried running single stick of ram on both a1 and a2 slots
Tried other stick of ram doing the same thing
Tried removing gpu entirely and just running off the onboard graphics

All have had the same no input result

At the end of my rope, im stuck in the middle of nowhere and this pc is my only outlet whatso ever lol. Im not the most pc savvy person and everything ide done so far was from googling on my phone.

Is my mobo trash? Is there something else i can do before trying to order one?

So while waiting for this post to get approved i have new info

Boot light comes on and stays on at cpu, does no continue to dram or vga. Made sure cpufan1 plug and it is seated properly

    Hi Hooch, Welcome to PCHF!

I would reset your BIOS back to default values using the clear CMOS function on your motherboard. There should be an option to clear your motherboards BIOS without having to take out the CMOS battery.

You can also try reseating your CPU and applying new thermal paste and see if that works but if you have tried all those other options then it looks like you might need to get a replacement motherboard.

One other thing you can try is to take the computer out of the case and install the motherboard on some cardboard and try booting the machine there to ensure something isn’t shorting out while the system is in the case.
