    Remove Windows Hello for Business

    I am using Windows 10 Professional (x64) Version 1803 (build 17134.165)

I am going through my Event Viewer trying to identify various problems I am experiencing and trying to eliminate them one by one.

I am receiving a Warning Event ID 360 and the Source is User Device Registration.

    The details are:
    • 360 0 3 0 0 0x8000000000000000 84 Microsoft-Windows-User Device Registration/Admin IansPC
    • Windows Hello for Business provisioning will not be launched. Not Tested No Not Tested Not Tested Not Tested Yes Not Tested none

Local Groupd Policy Editor > Windows Hello for Business says it is not configured.
\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft does not show any reference to Hello for Business
Setting > Accounts > Sign-in Options says Windows Hello isn’t available on this device.

So, if it is not available on this PC and is not configured or even in the registry, what is triggering these warnings? and How can I get rid of them completely and not just hide them?

    thanks

thanks Gus. (y) The regedit in the second link was different to the one I tried earlier. This is the one that worked for me.

\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Contr ol\WMI\Autologger\EventLog-Application{23b8d46b-67dd-40a3-b636-d43e50552c6d} and change the value for the DWORD β€œEnabled” to 0.

As always, I much appreciate the help.
We can closse this thread. i probably have a new thread coming up
