    Windows Edge Removal or disable

I use Firefox to browse the interet, and MS EDGE is also installed on the Machine. I use CCcleaner to keep everything tidy and β€œclean” but when using the program CCcleaner always asks to close EDGE, even though I wasnt aware it was running. Is there any way I can either delete or disable EDGE from the PC.

    Hi. This may help you:

Edge is embedded within Windows and you should make no attempt at deleting it, doing so will most likely leave you with a computer that cannot boot.

Make FF your default browser β€œhow to” here

As per Phill’s suggestion go to Settings/Apps/Default apps and change your default browser to Firefox (or whatever) there. Leave Edge install alone, who knows you might even need it one day?
